UX/UI Developer

Job Description

We are seeking a talented Software Developer with strong UX/UI and Interaction Design skills to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be proficient in CSS and JavaScript along with their associated frameworks and libraries. You will play a crucial role in designing and developing modern user interfaces, providing visual assets for creating web and mobile applications that delight users, and enhancing the functionality of existing projects. You will be working closely with our technical team and product leads to interpret client requirements and deliver high-quality software solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, and development of web and mobile application interfaces.
Use design software like Figma to create UI/UX wireframes and mockups for both web and mobile applications.
Working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software products.
Production of clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
Diagnosis and resolution of performance, scalability issues, and bugs for interfaces.
Translation of business requirements and user needs into highly engaging and compelling design concepts that work across various screen sizes and devices.
Staying updated with the latest industry trends in design and technology to bring new ideas to the team.

Qualifications:

Education:
Bachelor’s degree in either Computer Science, Graphic Design or Digital Design AND/OR equivalent experience with a deep portfolio.
Certifications in UI/UX or Web and Mobile Design would be a plus.

Technical Skills:
Proficiency in CSS, HTML, and responsive design.
Knowledge of interaction design and information architecture.
Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, InVision Studio.
Creating custom illustrations, branding, and iconography.
Performance optimization.
Strong experience with TailwindCSS or a similar CSS class-based library.
Familiarity with CSS processors is an asset.
3D modeling skills are an asset.
Experience with front-end frameworks/libraries such as React, NextJS, React Native, Angular, Vue and understanding how components are built in them is an asset.

UX/UI Skills:
Strong design abilities for user-centric interfaces and experiences.
Accessibility Standards such as WCAG.
Experience in designing and creating Design Systems and Style Guides.
Crafting of clear and concise copy for interfaces with appropriate tone.
Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and best practices.
Familiarity with personas, user journeys and user flows.
Familiarity with Typography principles.
Experience creating wireframes, mockups, and prototypes.
Ability to conduct user research, usability testing, and interpret feedback.
Ability to design responsive and adaptive interfaces across various devices and platforms.
Ability to produce custom illustrations/animations is a plus.

Minimalism
Flat
Skuomorphism
Neuomophism
Glassmorphism
